Striped knit midlayer with stretch side panels for active alpine use. Combines structured mesh on the body with jersey panels on the sides, full front zip, and high collar for versatile cool-weather layering.
The AULP Numix is a two-material hybrid midlayer designed for skiers and hikers working hard in cool conditions. The combination of structured mesh on the front, back and arms with stretch jersey on the sides gives you excellent airflow to manage moisture when you're exerting yourself, whilst the structured fabric provides thermal protection from the cold. It's a genuinely useful piece: not bulky enough to restrict you, breathable enough to wear under a shell jacket without overheating, and with a high collar that seals out wind when you're moving fast downhill or across terrain.
The fabric engineering does the job quietly. The striped polyester mesh is light and moves moisture through it quickly; the stretch jersey side panels mean you're never fighting the garment for a full range of motion. The metal and embroidered badges mark it as proper alpine kit. The zipped pockets actually seal, which matters if you're carrying something you don't want to lose. At this weight and thickness, it sits perfectly between a base layer and a shell—warm enough to wear on its own in spring or autumn, thin enough to layer under Gore-Tex without bulk.
Men working at any ability level who ski or hike in cool conditions and want a dependable layering piece. Suits active users who generate their own heat and need something breathable over a base layer. The regular cut works for average to slim builds; you're not paying for oversized fit here.
