Why we rate it

The fabrication is thoughtful: 49% polyester, 30% polyamide, 12% polyurethane and 9% elastane woven together to give you the stretch you need when edging or flexing at the hips. The slim cut means no bagging or pooling around the ankles, so your boots stay dry and your line stays clean. Zippers at the back leg hem let you open up for ventilation or to get them off after a long day without unpacking your boots.

The removable belt with buckle keeps them anchored at the waist, and internal snow catchers at the hem stop powder working its way into your socks. The nylon lining is slick enough to layer over thermal tights without resistance.

The Pippa cuts a narrow silhouette through the hip and thigh, tapering toward the ankle. Inseam sits at 76 cm for a regular length (size 38); a longer version is available if you need it.
