Helmet sizes

Helmets are sized by the measurement round your head. Each helmet shows its range in centimetres.

  • Wrap a soft tape measure round your head about a finger's width above your eyebrows and just above your ears.
  • Choose the size your measurement falls in. Snug is right: it shouldn't move when you shake your head, and shouldn't press anywhere.
  • Try it with your goggles — there should be no gap between the helmet and the goggle frame.
  • Not sure? Bring your goggles in and try a few on.

About the Salomon Husk Kids Ski Helmet

The Husk is a lightweight in-mold helmet built for kids discovering skiing. The EPS4D shock-absorbing system handles both straight-on and angled impacts, and the polycarbonate shell keeps weight down without compromising protection. It's certified to CE-EN1077 and ASTM F-2040 standards.
