Calf-length thermal socks in wool-rich blend for fishing in near-zero conditions. Made by the ski experts, stretched up the calf, available in black, green or olive.
These thermal socks are made by Skee-Tex, the Essex-based thermal boot maker, and pull experience from decades of keeping feet warm in extreme cold. They're tube socks that stretch all the way up your calf, designed specifically for anglers in winter and anyone spending long hours standing in freezing conditions.
The blend—44% wool with acrylic and spandex—traps warm air while the stretch keeps them in place over boots and waders without slipping or cutting off circulation. At 61 cm long, they cover the lower leg completely, crucial when wading in January or standing on the bankside in the dark. The wool content means they stay warm even when damp, and the acrylic mix keeps them durable through repeated soaking and drying. One size fits all, so no sizing guess needed.
Anglers fishing through winter and anyone in wellington boots or chest waders. Good for static bankside sessions or roving in cold weather. If you wade regularly or fish in near-zero conditions, these are a step above ordinary socks.
