Atomic Savor GT AMID 2026

The Savor GT AMID is Atomic's answer to skiers who want serious impact protection without the bulk. Built around AMID (Atomic Multi-directional Impact Deflector), it delivers up to 40% more impact protection than industry standards while keeping weight down to 500 g through an evolved ABS hybrid shell—more ABS for durability where it matters, in-mold construction below to save grams.

Why we rate it

The 360° Fit System genuinely adjusts to your head shape and size rather than forcing you into a mold. The Live Fit liner molds instantly to your head, then the height-adjustable system fine-tunes the fit so it sits precisely where it should. The removable, washable full-cap liner has integrated 3D-molded ear pads lined with merino wool and X-Static anti-microbial treatment—so it regulates temperature and resists odor, not just comfort padding that gets clammy.

Active Aircon Venting lets you manually adjust air channels and vents to manage temperature as conditions change. The audio-compatible ear pads work with headphone systems if you ski with music or take calls. It's rated CE EN 1077:2007 CLASS B and ASTM F 2040. Comes with a helmet bag.

Who it's for

Confident skiers who spend most of their time on-piste but venture into variable snow and want helmet technology that protects without fuss. The fit system suits most head shapes; the merino liner appeals to skiers who keep their helmet on all day and want it to breathe and stay fresh.
