Slip-on rubber crampon attachment for ski boots, adjustable from 260 mm to 350 mm sole length. Prevents slipping on snow while walking to lifts and around the base area.
The Sidas Ski Boot Traction is a practical attachment that turns your ski boot soles into grippy crampons for confident walking on snowy terrain. Made from flexible, resistant rubber with a tapered tip design, it lets you move naturally while the asymmetric crampon pattern bites into ice and packed snow.
It works. The rubber grips reliably on the snow without catching or feeling clunky, and the tapered front means you don't fight the boot when you walk. The adjustment system is simple: measure your boot sole length in millimetres, rotate the Phillips screw on the baseplate until the arrow aligns with your size, then strap it on and tighten from the front. It takes seconds to fit or remove.
The crampon pattern is asymmetric, which means it flexes where your boot naturally bends. That matters when you're trudging uphill to the lifts or picking your way down a steep slope on foot. The rubber is tough enough to handle repeated use without degrading, though it's worth checking the attachment annually and keeping the device in a dry place away from heat and UV.
Anyone in ski boots who needs to walk on snow without slipping: getting to lifts, traversing off-piste, or moving around the base area. They work for all ability levels and fit any adult boot size from 260 mm to 350 mm sole length.
