  • Stand on paper, heel against a wall, in a thin sock. Mark your longest toe and measure — do both feet and use the bigger one.
  • Between sizes? Go for the larger. A fitter can take up space in a boot, but can't make a short one longer.
  • Brands and lasts vary. Walk in and a fitter will check your foot in the shell — no appointment needed.

About the Atomic Nexus 110 Boa 2026/27

The Atomic Nexus 110 BOA brings convenience and performance together in a single boot. It's designed for intermediate to advanced skiers who want easier entry and exit without sacrificing responsiveness across the whole mountain.

The 110 flex strikes a balance between control and forgiveness, making it accessible to stronger intermediate skiers while still rewarding advanced technique. The NexStep Construction lets the cuff open wide with a QuickFlip Lever at the back—you step in, shut the lever to close the cuff snugly around your leg, and you're locked in. The BOA H+i1 Single Pull dial lets you micro-adjust the foot closure for a uniform fit, while the Set-and-Forget buckle holds the cuff to your chosen leg shape even when you take the boot off. If your calf needs more volume, the removable Adaptive Fit System (AFS) spoiler adds space without changing the boot's overall character.

Why we rate it

The 101mm last is genuinely wide—this is a high-volume boot, not a medium squeezed into a wider claim. It suits people with broader feet or higher insteps who'd otherwise struggle with standard widths. Heat-molding is where the fit really lands: both shell and cuff respond to heat, and the Mimic Silver Liner with Memolink additive expands 6mm in the forefoot and 10mm at the ankle, so you can dial in heel hold without crushing your toes.

The GripWalk sole is standard, giving you grip on snow and ice without needing to step out of the boot to find purchase. The 15° forward lean and NexStep front overlap design keep you connected to the ski while the easy-entry setup means you're not wrestling with buckles on a cold morning.

Who it's for

Intermediate and advanced all-mountain skiers with wider feet or higher-volume feet who value easier entry without compromising edge control. The mid-range flex suits strong intermediates and advanced skiers looking for all-mountain responsiveness, not just playfulness. If you've outgrown comfort boots but find narrow boots painful, this is worth trying.

Key features

  • BOA H+i1 Single Pull — bi-directional micro-adjustable dial for precise foot closure, not ratchet buckles
  • QuickFlip Lever — rear cuff release for fast, easy step-in and step-out
  • NexStep Construction — overlapping front design that opens wide for entry but delivers responsive skiing once closed
  • 101mm last (wide, high-volume) — genuinely spacious for wider feet and higher insteps
  • Heat-moldable shell, cuff and Mimic Silver Liner — customizable through Memory Fit (shell/cuff) and Mimic heat fitting (liner) for a locked-in feel
  • Adaptive Fit System (AFS) Cuff — removable spoiler adds calf volume for different leg shapes
  • GripWalk sole — ISO 23223 standard, grip pads for traction on snow and ice

Fit and feel

This is a wide, high-volume boot. The 101mm last sits noticeably roomier than standard 98mm boots—if you've worn those and felt squeezed across the midfoot or instep, you'll notice the difference. Once you heat-mold the liner, the Mimic Silver conforms closely to your foot shape while staying comfortable. The cuff wraps snugly around your leg without pressure points when the AFS spoiler is set right. Forward lean is 15°, aggressive enough to engage your skis but not so much that you're jammed into the boot tongue.
