Our boots are sized honestly: the size shown is what the boot actually fits, not the number moulded into the sole.

• The number pressed into the sole is the size of the mould, not the finished boot with its liner in.
• Between sizes, go up — the liner needs air around your foot to do its job, and a squeezed boot is a cold boot.
• When the liner eventually tires, replace it rather than the boot, and the full rating comes back.
